Bacteria The strain S. rubidea here labeled R was obtained from the collection of the Department of Genetics and Microbiology, Faculty of Sciences, Charles University. The strain S. marcescens CNCTS 5965 was obtained from the Czech National Institute of Health [20]. The identity of strains was confirmed by MALDI – TOF method, using Bruker Daltonik MALDI Biotyper (performed by A. Nemec, National Health Institute, Prague); the scores assigned to particular strains of S. rubidaea (R = 2.241, W = 2.214) and S. marcescens (F = 2.151, Fw = 2.212 and M = 2.168) indicate very high probability of correct determination. It is to be stated that in the previous work, the morphotypes F and Fw were erroneously determined as belonging to S. rubidaea species.
